Graziella Sonvico: I am
the Salon owner and a fully HND qualified Beauty
Therapist. After qualifying in June 1995 I worked in
a local Kirkintilloch salon where I trained in
Depliex Physique plus, Esthetix Facial Toning and St
Tropez self tan.
Just Prior to opening the salon in June 98 I
enrolled in a business course ran by Strathkelvin
Enterprise Trust. This helped me to construct a
business place and I gained a NVQ Owner Manager
Certificate at the end of the course.
Once the Salon was up and running I developed my
professional qualifications further by training in
the Darphin Facials and skin care range, Nailteque
Manicures and Pedicures. Darphin Retail. and Indian
Head massages.
As the salon Continues to grow the next training
course I'm Interested in attending is hot stone
Therapy and Eyelash Perming.
I specialise in electrolysis, Make-up artistry and
waxing although I do carryout a full range of
treatments within the salon. |

Gillian McLeod: I
qualified from Clydebank College with an HND in
beauty Therapy in 1997, Whilst at college I began
working part-time at Expressions Beauty Salon in
Lenzie, this post became permanent and full-time
after I graduated. It was while working there I met
Graziella who also worked in the salon. I was
interested in specialising in nail extensions and
was sent to train in the NSI system.
I left in 1998 and went to work at Stobo Castle
where I remained for over a year. During this time I
gained extensive training and experience in the
following; Thalgo Face & Body, ionithermie Face &
Body and Mavala Nail Care.
In 1999 I began working At Beautopia, and as the
salon grew and recruited more staff I was promoted
to salon Manager in 2001. I deal with the day to day
running of the salon and also do staff training.
I have gained further professional qualifications in
Darphin skin care and facial procedures, Darphin
retail, Indian Head Massage and advanced NSI Nail
Training.
I comfortably carryout a wide range of beauty and
holistic treatments although I specialise in ear
piercing, acrylic nails and Indian head massage. |

Jane Redmond: I qualified
in June 2002 with an HND in Beauty Therapy from
Cumbernauld College. During this time I also took
further qualifications in Eyelash Perming, St Tropez
Self Tanning and General Make-up.
I initially worked at Dunblane Hydro where I carried
out a full range of Beauty treatments. I left there
to further my career and began working at Hamilton
Water Palace, where I specialised in Louking Nicola
Facials.
In July 03 the opportunity came to work at Beautopia
and having done some work experience there
during my HND I knew the salon was very progressive
and had excellent standards. Since joining the
company I have trained in Darphin Skin Care, Make-up
and retail, Nailteque Manicures/Pedicures. Esthetix
facial Toning and Depliex Physique Plus.
I enjoy waxing and Facials and specialise in Eyelash
Perming and Nailteque Manicures. |

I qualified
in June 2003 after completing a 3 year beauty
therapy course at Cumbernauld college.
Since qualifying , I have been in full time
employment at Beautopia health and beauty salon
where I have gained further experience , training
and product knowledge in:
NSI nail extensions, Darphin facials + product
knowledge, Depliex physique, Nailtiques manicures/
pedicures
I am currently attending central college of commerce
where I will complete a course in Indian head
massage.
Although I carry out a full range of treatments
within the salon , I specialize in Darphin facials
and Nailtiques manicures.
